We are so glad you are considering Ribfest as place to come and enjoy Music, Food and Fun, all while supporting a great cause!
There are sidewalks and pavement in some of the main areas for Ribfest, but Ribfest remains mostly grassy, particularly in the rib vendor area and the seating area for the concerts.
We have areas set aside for mobility compromised patrons and their companions in both music areas and handicapped accessible restrooms throughout the park. The ADA compliant seating area in the Main Stage viewing area is raised and has a ramp. The ADA area does not provide seating so you, and your guests, should bring your own seats.
In terms of entering the park, we often recommend guests with mobility issues enter through the North Park Entrance as there is a permanent sloped ramp installed on Hillside and ADA parking at Naperville Central HS. The East Entrance, if you come early, is also a good option, as there is ADA parking at Martin Manor and patrons enter on flat pavement. Free remote ADA parking and free shuttles are available as well. Our 2017 Ribfest map is available here.
To schedule an American Sign Language interpreter for a Ribfest 2017 Navistar Stage headliner performance, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Don't forget to include the performance date in your request as requests for an interpreter must be received at least 48 hours before the event to ensure an interpreter is available.[Advance notice also allows our dedicated interpreters time to study the play list!] Note: ADA seating is available at both stages. Ask to be directed to the ADA viewing platform. Thank you for considering Ribfest for your 4th of July weekend!
